The Project Safety Management Program covers important regulations, laws, safety principles, procedures, and policies. How to change a safety culture, Behavioral Based Safety, and the S.O.S. system. Project job book development from the emergency action plan, hazard recognition, elimination, control and mitigation, permit issuance for general, confined space, hot work, excavations and hot tapping operations. Process Safety Management, Confined space rescue plan development, permitting for rescue teams and preventing to have to perform rescues through safety management of projects. Contractor Safety Management, construction, repairs, and recommissioning. Evaluation and revisions of safe work and execution plans, presented by contractors for the job tasks awarded, job safety analysis, job safety checklists and hazard risk analysis for projects. Accident and incident investigation, root cause analysis, corrective actions and accident prevention. Turnaround contractor safety management, multiple contractor safety management, construction safety management and management of change. It is a very hands-on type course presentation, many exercises requiring extensive paperwork development by individuals for the various phases of many types of projects, tanks to towers.
The IQCIA TES certification is a requirement to attend. Limited space, the class is presented once per year and is close to capacity as of 5-28-23.
